3D Printed Exemplar – Turboprop Engine

Complete with spinning gears and turbines, the goal of this project was to demonstrate the intricate pieces involved in operating an aircraft engine and push our new Bambu 3D printer through a variety of printing materials and sizes.RTI has a long history of investigating accidents involving GA aircraft, often those using turboprop engines. In the course of explaining complex aviation operations to a judge or jury, we use exemplar models to assist in explaining how things work.
